Pheasant In Flight 30" x 20" original

Soaring at great speed through the Norfolk skyline, this magnificent, vibrant pheasant is a common yet incredible sight. With it's long flowing tail and the  iridescent golds, greens and reds it is not hard to remember it's oriental roots even though it is also so quintessentially British.  

Because I have been lucky enough to spend much of my life in the countryside I can't imagine a walk without the familiar helecopter beat and distinct call of a pheasant rising from the brush then streaking across the skyline and so I to include my particular take on this awesome bird in my collection.
